A typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you?
My days are split between my two companies. Some days I am more focused on the dietetic internship with leading our Class Days for the interns, networking and confirming new rotation sites for our interns and completing required paperwork, conducting out-reach, and presenting our dietetic information to prospective interns.

Other days, I am more focused on B.Komplete. As B.Komplete is now growing into new geographic markets we are focused on growing our team (in Texas, California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey). I conduct parts of the hiring process, and lead the on-boarding and training for new team members. I also lead the sales for B.Komplete, and generally do 3 - 5 sales meetings per week.

I will also lead webinars and visit B.Komplete team members when they are doing onsite programs.

How did you get your current job in dietetics?
I created both of them :)

What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?
I have always been confident, never took "no" for an answer, and attracted to hard work. I think I was also naturally responsible and dedicated.

Some of the skills that I have learned along the way include more patience, becoming a better listener, gaining greater empathy, and ultimately becoming a better leader. I strive to continue to learn and grow, and want to be the best person that I can be!

What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?
For anyone who is thinking about quitting a job and starting a business, my best advice is to do it before you feel "fully" ready. Because the truth is, you are never going to be fully ready.

And you just need to do it anyways, and go ALL IN. If you make it a side-hustle, most often it will stay a side-hustle. If you want a thriving business, you must focus all of your attention and energy on that.

If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what would it be?
Animal rights. I am passionate about animals, and if all animals were treated fairly and with kindness, I would be forever grateful.
