Describe a typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you? Every day is different which definitely keeps me on my toes, typically each day is filled with visionary, strategic work, accountability, team meetings, team supervision, professional meetings, business coaching, and nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting. In terms of nutrition counseling, I empower people to recover from all kinds of eating disorders and repair their relationship with food by working intensely with clients, their families and healthcare team. I love working with a team of professionals, it is so exciting and invigorating and I believe that we all end up being stronger Registered Dietitians as a result of much collaboration.

How did you get your current job in dietetics? Created it and continually fine tune it.

What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way? I was born with a strong desire to help others. I learned a million business skills along the way.

What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you? Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what would it be? I would love to be paid in home cooked meals. Nothing is more satisfying to me than a home cooked meal.
