Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Educator
Duluth, GA

The ideal candidate will provide outpatient and inpatient diabetes self-management education to individuals and/or patient groups; Considers patient knowledge, skills, cultural preferences, health beliefs and preferred learning styles and adapts education to meet patient needs; Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure optimal diabetes management care:. Participates in system and department initiatives including inpatient glycemic management; staff, and community outreach, and ongoing performance improvements.

⢠Currently licensed as RN in the state of Georgia
⢠Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
⢠Certified Diabetes Educator preferred
⢠Three yearsâ experience in diabetes education in the inpatient and outpatient setting

Work Schedule:
Full-time; Monday â Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Also includes some evenings and Saturdays)
