Job Description and Requirements

DayOne Health, located in downtown Chicago, is an outpatient weight loss surgery program focused on minimally invasive procedures including the Lap-Band, Gastric Balloon, and Gastric Sleeve. DayOne was the first surgery center in the Midwest to perform the Lap-Band procedure on an outpatient basis. Since then, over 2,000 procedures have been successfully performed at DayOne Health with over 7,000 adjustments performed each year. The philosophy of DayOne Health is to help patients beat obesity and live healthy lives. Our holistic approach to weight loss allows us to have some of the most successful outcomes in the country. Our surgeons are often asked to help train other bariatric surgeons in surgical techniques required for the lap-band procedure. DayOne Health has been designated as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence (BSCOE) by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). This prestigious designation identifies top-quality bariatric surgical programs with the experience and resources to perform safe surgical procedures along with a demonstrated short- and long-term track record of favorable outcomes in bariatric surgery.
