Nutritionist-Educational Dining Mid-Atlantic Region

We are recruiting for a full time Nutritionist with a food management operations background. This individual will create, coordinate and deliver nutritional information to our independent schools both boarding and day schools and provide operational support to selected day school programs. Our ideal candidate will have a background in allergies, healthy eating and nutrition trends and be able to influence student groups with nutritional knowledge and education. In addition, this position will provide supervision to our regional day schools.
Develop Health and Wellness programs and presentations for corporate dining and K-12 independent school accounts.
Travel and overnight stays required in order to present Health and Wellness information to customers via table displays, lunch and learn presentations, health fairs, and webinars.
Establish on-site partnerships with key client personnel to provide health and wellness education and events.
Work closely with Director of Marketing and Director of Culinary Development to develop and implement new programs.
Research and develop topics and information for the Health and Wellness Newsletter.
Provide content for daily health and wellness information, tips, photos, and recipes for posting on Brock's Health and Wellness social media accounts.
Develop a monthly social media challenge where followers have the opportunity to connect with Brock Health and Wellness and win prizes.
Director of Brock's Health and Wellness Summer Internship Program. Involves interviewing, developing schedule/tasks, teaching, and reviewing for 4-8 weeks.
Assist with the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, specifically menu development, program guideline assistance, and professional trainings.
Develop and implement programs promoting food allergy awareness for internal and external audiences.
Assist with menu review for food allergies, variety, and balance.
Keep current with health and wellness knowledge and trends.
o BachelorÃ¢s degree in dietetics or nutrition related field.
o Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission
on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
o Minimum of 1 year experience in the field of dietetics.
o Ability to meet travel requirements associated with the

o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Knowledge of social media platforms, including Twitter and
o Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
o Demonstrated ability to positively influence team members
o Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft
