Nutritionist Pharmacy Trainer
Job Description and Requirements
Uniphar are looking to recruit a Nutritionist Pharmacy Trainer. This person will need to be available to travel to site locations occasionally and they will also need to be a fully qualified pharmacist.
Working as part of the Retail Services team the Pharmacy Trainer role will champion the health and wellness strategy within Uniphar Retail Services.
Build relationships to achieve sales, training and merchandising objectives across the lead customer base which incorporates Allcare Pharmacy Group, Life Pharmacy Group, and Independent Community Pharmacy.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of the Uniphar Retail Services Health & Wellness programme across retail pharmacy.
Play a central role in defining and developing strategies and associated materials for sales, services and training.
Develop and deliver training on a wide range of topics both technically and commercially to the sales team and retail pharmacy partners, in the form one to one support, group meetings and retail events.
Cultivating and continuously improving both product offering, in-store team knowledge and customer experience.
Identify new products, training opportunities and selling techniques focused on supporting the URS commercial agenda.
Research emerging trends and opportunities in the retail pharmacy market and maintain an awareness of new research, regulatory updates and industry best practice advice in the sector.
Work with the cross functional team in shaping the URS business plan.
In-depth understanding of Pharmacy standard operating procedures Operate as a team player and positively contribute to achieving growth targets of the business.
Actively participate and contribute to business development and project initiatives as required.
Identify training requirements and develop annual training plan for retail pharmacy partners (including Allcare and Life pharmacy brands).
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience working within community pharmacy.
Experience in developing and delivering training desirable.
In-depth understanding of community pharmacy sector.
Ability to grow new business and develop existing accounts.
Experience in delivering category and product training.
Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills and ability to deliver a clear, concise message that is tailored to different audiences.
Good time management and planning skills.
Flexible, innovative approach to work.
Interest in technology and potential utilization of different platforms in delivering training
Good team player.
Target driven - experience in meeting deadlines on daily /weekly / monthly basis and used to working in a busy environment.
