Job Description and Requirements
POSITION: Nutritionist I
DUTIES: Provides basic nutrition services, including individual and group counseling to clients eligible for WICs Special Supplemental Food program. Requires knowledge in nutritional and dietetic principles and practices.
EDUCATION: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education - approved Didactic Program in Dietetics; or Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Bachelors degree in any subject area from an accredited four-year college or university; or a Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year college or university. Applicant must submit a completed North Carolina state application, an official college transcript and a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) verification statement.
