As integral components of the University of Nevada, Reno, the Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station, and the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources invite applications to fill a nutrition lecturer position within the Agriculture, Nutrition and Veterinary Sciences Department (ANVS).
Qualified candidates must have expertise to teach a combination of required and elective undergraduate nutrition courses that support the accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD), the nutritional science specialization, and the institutionâs core curriculum. Other responsibilities include providing academic advisement; assisting with curriculum development and assessment; and participating in student recruitment/retention efforts. Service to the university and the profession is also expected. Lastly, commitment to teaching a diverse and rapidly growing body of students is expected.
