Utica College, a small comprehensive college in Upstate New York, is seeking an Internship Program Director - Nutrition Program to fill a position in the newly-developed Nutrition program.

Primary responsibilities include:
The Internship Program Director is responsible for assuring that all ACEND accreditation standards, policies and procedures are met.
The responsibilities of the Internship Program Director include, but are not limited to the following: In consultation with program faculty, develop and maintain policies and procedures for effectively managing all components of the program and ensure fair, equitable, and considerate treatment of prospective and enrolled interns (such as program admission, retention, and completion policies); In consultation with program faculty, develop, maintain, and coordinate internship locations and relationships; In consultation with program faculty, develop and maintain internship grading and completion information; Participate in student recruitment, advisement, evaluation and counseling; Maintain program accreditation, including timely submission of fees, reports, and requests for major program changes; Maintain programâs student records, including student advising plans and verification statements (verification statements must be kept indefinitely); Handle complaints about the program received from interns or others, including disposition of the complaint; On-going review of programâs curriculum to meet the accreditation standards; Communicate and coordinate with program faculty, preceptors, and others involved with the program; Facilitate processes for continuous assessment of program and student learning outcomes; Teach courses related to the didactic undergraduate program.
Minimum of a masterâs degree in an applicable field is required; a registered dietitian, and 3 years post registration field experience; Experience teaching college-level courses and good organizational skills.
