Job Description and Requirements
Founded in 2003, FoodCalc is an independently owned corporation in the state of California. We are the food industry's gold standard for web-based nutrition analysis solutions. Since 2003, we have pioneered the use of innovative technology to deliver instant, affordable nutrition analysis tools.
Our MenuCalc software, is the recipe analysis platform tailored to chefs, restaurants and hospitality. While our FDA Nutrition Facts generator software LabelCalc, analyzes formulas and creates a FDA Nutrition Facts Panel file for sue in retail.
We are looking to bring on a mid to full-time sales support person to assist in answering, reply and closing in-bound leads. In addition to responding to in-bound sales leads, we need someone to effectively follow up with each lead to keep the sales pipeline active, and conversions high.
General People Skills:
-Strong negotiating and selling skills.
-Personable and patient. A lot of our smaller companies need patience during the initial sales call to understand the process of what we sell and the general nutrition analysis process.
-Be intuitive to potential client's needs, concerns, and unknowns.
-You must work well by yourself and be a self-starter. This is a remote position from our HQ in San Francisco.
-Delivering results working independently is a must.
Sales and lead Duties:
-Learn the products inside and out to effectively sell, and up-sell features.
-Recipe analysis and food labeling experience is a huge plus, many first-time clients need assurance in our analysis features and tools. This is an up-selling opportunity for you.
-Respond and sell the services and solutions that the company offers to inbound leads.
-Inbound leads come in the form of calls, emails, and LiveChat. Overtime you will be responsible for answering all 3 funnels of leads.
-Respond to new service enquiries and pricing questions.
-Effectively sell the services and subscription solutions that the company offers.
-Focus on your performance, not just responsibilities.
-Be very target driven to achieve sales goals and monthly/quarterly quotas.
-Maintain and grow a strong lead pipeline.
-Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
-Eventually, provide live product demo/walk-throughs to leads.
-Update company CRM with all in-bound leads.
-Assist in writing outbound sales email templates.
-Communicate with company's PPC/SEO team to ensure inbound leads are on track to assist in reaching sales targets, and suggest new avenues to grow leads.
-Weekly sales update meeting with CEO to review current health of pipeline.
-Participate in weekly PPC/SEO meeting with CEO and SEO team to ensure adequate outbound online presence
You will be fully trained on both softwares, and shadow current sales person to ensure you are comfortable and able to respond to sales questions. There will be a weekly sales/pipeline review to ensure you have all the tools and knowledge needed to close sales.
