Successful candidate provides individualized medical nutrition therapy to patients with inborn errors of metabolism in ambulatory and hospital settings as a part of a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary care center. Disorders of focus include but are not limited to: phenylketonuria, urea cycle disorders, maple syrup urine disease, organic acidemias, galactosemia, fatty acid oxidation disorders, glycogen storage diseases, congenital disorders of glycosylation, and mitochondrial disorders.
Completion of Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Internship or approved training program is required. Bachelorâs degree in Nutrition or related field a must.
