Clinical Specialist Dietitian - Neonatology

The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital, Dublin is a voluntary teaching hospital with national, regional and area responsibilities for ensuring the optimal health of mothers, women and infants (up to 10,000 pregnant women per annum).
The Hospital is a national tertiary referral centre for specialised services including maternal and fetal medicine, neonatalogy, gynaecology and anaesthesia.
The Hospital has a substantial academic portfolio in terms of multidisciplinary education, research and training.
The Hospital hosts two University Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the National Cervical Cytology Training Centre and the Hub Centre for continuing Midwifery education in the Greater Dublin area; the Research Laboratory in the hospital campus is a leading European Centre for molecular biology research.

The Hospital is now inviting expressions of interest for the following post:

Clinical Specialist Dietitian - Neonatology

We are seeking applications from clinical specialist dietitians in neonatology to work collaboratively with other dietetic and multidisciplinary team members to provide patient centred care and lead the specialist dietetic service in neonatology.
The post holder will work with the multi-disciplinary team including service users to strategically develop, implement and maintain evidence based nutrition policies and procedures with the aim of ensuring optimum dietetic care to infants in CWIUH. Provision of expert dietetic advice on the use of parenteral and enteral feeds in collaboration with consultants, midwifery and pharmacy is key to the role.
Candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of dietetic experience or experience in a maternity/ paediatric setting.
**Qualifications, regulations and Salary Scale for the above post are as stipulated by the Health Service Executive. All candidates must submit approved registration by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU**.
