JOB DESCRIPTION
Nutrition Management Services Company is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team in lower Westchester County, New York.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Oversee overall clinical operation by coordinating the nutrition care program for each resident and/or patient which includes the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of nutrition services with the support of the staff dietitians
- Work in conjunction with clinical operations team to ensure compliance with county, state and federal regulatory standards
- Maintain Registered Dietitian status
- Provide nutrition education to patients/residents, family members and staff
- Stay current by reviewing all pertinent literature regarding nutrition and communicating the information to staff
- Hire, train and evaluate the clinical dietitians and support staff as needed
- Assure proper documentation in the medical records
- Improve patient/resident and staff food service satisfaction
- Elevate customer satisfaction and customer relationships
- Maintain the menu management system in the department
- Oversee QAPI measurements for the department and report findings as required
- Actively participate on designated facility committees and other related facility/department functions
- Supports a team approach for improved nutrition and food services

REQUIREMENTS
⢠Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
⢠Masterâs Degree in nutrition or related field preferred
⢠Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in long-term care and/or acute care combined
⢠Prior management/supervisory experience
⢠Prior experience in a unionized setting preferred
⢠Computer literate with EMRs and menu management systems
⢠Ability to communicate with various levels in the organization to include management, patients/residents, client, and associates
⢠Highly skilled in diet office systems and processes
⢠Previous experience in high volume, complex service operations
⢠Comprehensive knowledge of food delivery trends with a focus on food quality, food cost controls, and plate presentation
⢠Extensive experience with menu development and implementation
⢠ServSafe certification preferred
⢠Be eager to learn and embrace corporate culture and systems
⢠Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
⢠Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
