Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health is a 665-bed, acute care teaching hospital and comprehensive regional health center with a regional trauma center located in the Philadelphia suburbs. We offer highly specialized services in cardiac care, cancer care, neurosciences, orthopaedics and maternal/child health.

Abington Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to be the Clinical Nutrition Manager (CNM) and to lead the inpatient clinical team at Abington-Jefferson Health, including Abington Hospital and Lansdale Hospital.

The CNM directs and supervises the inpatient dietitians and maintains responsibility for clinical services, regulatory compliance, direct patient care, nutritional records and staff nutrition education. CNM functions as a resource to other team members in the organization in all aspects of clinical nutrition. This includes policies and procedures of the organization to provide maximum integration and coordination of clinical nutrition services with all aspects of patient and client service.

This position will serve in a leadership role and represent the department on hospital-wide committees; be responsible for meeting The Joint Commission/state/federal and hospital standards; and be responsible for the hiring, orientation, scheduling, training, development and performance evaluations of the Registered Dietitians.

*Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on *Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
*Licensed to practice dietetics in the state of Pennsylvania.
*3-5 years in acute care clinical nutrition with demonstrated progressive achievements and management experience preferred.
*Bachelor's degree in nutrition-related field.
*Advanced degree and/or advanced credentialing preferred.
*Demonstrated skills in management and communications and computer
*Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
*Must follow Department of Health, Abington-Jefferson Health and
Department of Nutrition policies, procedures and guidelines.
