What attracted you to the field of nutrition and dietetics?
Since high school I’ve had an interest in healthy eating, sports, and self-improvement. It’s a career in which you can empower people to help themselves.

Describe a typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you?
- Writing and creating content for the company blog and the product.
- Learning new things about social media and marketing.
- Collaborating with my colleagues on the product roadmap.
How did you get your current job in dietetics?
After moving to Northern California with my husband and his career, I started hunting for a RD position in the health and wellness/business/tech space. I was delighted to find there are some of these opportunities for RD’s in the Bay Area.
What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?
I have always been organized, proactive, detail-oriented, positive, and collaborative.
I have learned to become patient.
What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?
- Be patient.
- Work hard.
- Be flexible.
- Trust your instincts.
- Learn from your mistakes and move on.
