What attracted you to the field of nutrition and dietetics?
A grandmother who was sick for many years with everything under the sun and my athletic background.

Business Owner, Sports Dietitian, Consultant
What company you are with now?
Describe a typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you.
Never the same! Business owner and Sports Dietitian means I don’t see two of the same days ever. Needless to say, never boring!
How did you get your current job in dietetics?
I created it. There was a niche, so I filled it.
What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?
Born with determination, self-motivation, organization. Learned along the way – flexibility, effective communication, and have fun!
What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?
Make sure you know what you want. Many people go through life without a clear outline of this.
If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what would it be?
At this moment, payment for my trip to Nepal and Everest Basecamp in 2013.
