Job Description and Requirements
Community Health Clinic Ole is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking, Registered Dietitian to work in our innovative, fast-paced clinic dedicated to serving the uninsured and under-served population of Napa County. Duties would include individual Medical Nutrition Therapy, group patient education, providing trainings for medical providers and support staff, research and development of effective education resources related to health, nutrition and exercise for our patient population. The job includes working in a variety of settings including the Healthy Moms and Babies perinatal program, Community Health Clinic Ole in Napa as well as satellite sites in St Helena and Calistoga. The new Registered Dietitian would join the team of three other Registered Dietitians providing services.
Our ideal candidate must speak fluent Spanish, will have excellent leadership, judgment and time-management skills. Must be able to work efficiently and independently, be meticulous in following documentation standards and following standardized protocols. Must be able to work well in teams, and must have excellent customer service skills.

Community Health Clinic Ole (CHCO) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which provides comprehensive health services in Napa County. These services include primary medical; dental; obstetrical/perinatal; behavioral health; HIV clinic; womens health clinic; extensive preventive education program including diabetes education, nutrition/health education; and a breast and cervical cancer early detection program along with support for eligibility processing and case management. Clinic Ole also performs extensive outreach in the community by participating in community health fairs, providing health screenings and education at migrant farm worker camps and sending staff into the community to inform our target population about the services available to them. Clinic Ole has been dedicated to providing top quality health care services in our community for over 40 years. The clinic implemented an electronic health record system (eClinicalWorks) in the second half of 2009.
