In this position, youll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical nutrition therapy and clinical nutrition services for patients at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. This involves helping develop policies and procedures for medical and clinical nutrition activities; supervising and evaluating the performance of dietitians, DTRs and diet assistants; working closely with food service managers and supervisors to ensure nutritious food selection for patients; and participating in patient satisfaction programs and performance/quality improvement initiatives. This is a 5-month contract with potential for full-time employment.
To qualify, you must be certified as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and have 3-5 years of clinical management experience in an acute care setting. Proficiency with nutrition software applications is also required.
